It is not only American, in Indonesia they have the same trend. I can see it in my company, most of the staff use their free time for watching online video. The most favourite site is Youtube, then the other visit Crunchyroll for manga/drama freaks. In my opinion the other company may be similar, especially who used broadband connection for their internet connection.
